Modern Squares Quilt
This quilt is a modern take on the courthouse steps variation of the traditional log cabin quilt block. There are five blue blocks and four green blocks, each featuring an alternating mix of light and dark batik fabrics separated by a thin gray border. The overall effect is bold and engaging.
The quilting is “stitch in the ditch” outlining to complement the green and blue squares with minimal visibility.
The quilt back features a navy blue batik fabric with an ogee design. The quilt is bound with a green and white striped fabric.
All fabric is 100% high quality quilting cotton. The batting is an 80/20 cotton and polyester blend for extra softness and crease resistance.
